We do not require accounts and do not collect personal information such as your name or email unless you voluntarily contact us. Your recent searches and generated bibliographies are stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) and are never transmitted to us.

Third-party services

Search queries are sent to Crossref and OpenAlex to retrieve publication metadata. These services process requests under their own privacy policies. We may serve advertising through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to display relevant ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites.

Cookies

You may disable personalised advertising via Google's Ads Settings, and control cookies through your browser settings. Essential functionality does not require cookies.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage. No personally identifiable information is sold or shared.

Your choices
